I’m originally from Saint Paul…
… but Shorewood has been home for the past four years. My wife and I moved here in 2022 with our two dogs, and we've come to appreciate not only the natural beauty of the area but also the passion of its residents to defend.
When we're not adding to our unofficial collection of German Shepherd mixes, we enjoy spending time outdoors and taking advantage of the parks, trails, and lakes that make this corner of the county unique.
This is my second term on the Planning Commission, and I have also volunteered with the Lake Minnetonka Communications Commission since 2023. Public service has been an important part of my life for many years. I served for 22 years in the military and have spent the past 14 years working at U.S. Bank. Since 2017, I have also taught business analytics and data science as an adjunct instructor at Hamline University.
Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of data, technology, and decision-making. Whether helping organizations manage risk, teaching students, or serving in local government, I have found that the best decisions are usually grounded in careful analysis, open discussion, and a willingness to consider different perspectives.
Those are the same principles I hope to bring to my work on behalf of my Shorewood neighbors. My goal is simple: to help ensure that our community remains a thoughtful, well-planned, and welcoming place to live for years to come.
